Suppport BJ and Alex T-Shirts
BJ was married on Febuary 14th 2009 to Nicole (Nikki) Stanford, and even through these tough times they still manage to be completely happy. They don't have any children yet but they have two cats that they love and consider there only children for now.
His has alot of hobbies that he enjoys thouroughly. He enjoys the outdoors doing activities like camping, hiking, and backpacking. Along with enjoying graphic design and drawing, he is an avid photographer and the thing he enjoys the most is going to random places and taking pictures of people or just random things. BJ is also quite the nerd. He enjoys video games a little too much and spends a good chunk of his free time on his xbox. Another hobby of his is the guitar. He has played in several different bands like Cool Your Jets, and The Mafia. He enjoys music very much and loves going to hardcore shows and having fun. The music he mostly enjoys to listen to is Sludge, Indie, Instrumental, Hardcore, Political Rap, and some Metalcore. Since BJ was 12 he has also been an avid snowboarder and skateboarder.
He is currently going to school at Weber State University to become a mechanical engineer, and as an activity he is an experienced snowboarder who rides for his universities snowboard team.
BJ has been an activist for about 5 years now. He loves animals very much, and will do all he can, to help the animals until the day he dies. A few years after becoming vegetarian in high school, he became more educated and aware of all types of animal cruelty in the factory farming industry. He then quickly adopted a vegan lifestyle which has been with him for 3 years now. Even since he was a toddler he hated meat. Some times his mother would do the laundry and find pieces of meat in his pockets, he hated the meat and wasn't allowed to be excused from the table until his plate was clean. So he found a way around that. His mother also remembers times when they would be at a fast food restaurant and he wanted a burger with out the burger. For some reason he really enjoyed just a bun with ketchup and pickles.
BJ said this: "I would like to thank everyone for the support me and alex have received. I love each and everyone who has helped with anything. The animal rights community means a lot to me. Apart from my amazing family, I consider my friends and fellow activists my second family because they mean the world. I am so happy to see how well complete strangers can work together in the AR community across the world and get so much done. The amount of support is tremendous. This is something very powerful. This is something that the FBI and government can't take away from us. Don't let the government scare you with its witch hunts. Don't let them scare you out of being an activist. Never back down and never give up. Act up and fight back! I LOVE YOU ALL!!"
BJ also urges anyone to support any political prisoners out there. The people of the "AETA 4" need your support as well. The charges against them are ridiculous, it is just a ploy to hurt the AR community, don't let this scare you. Please donate and write to them as much as you can.
