Suppport BJ and Alex T-Shirts
Since Alex was very young he has always had a passion and love for all non-human animals. His mom recalls multiple times when he was younger the two of them would be out running errands or out golfing and she would lose track of him because he would be off looking at a bug or critter trying to catch it or feed it crumbs of bread or crackers. A lot of his friends found that no matter the situation Alex is in he always takes time to give affection or take notice to any dog, cat or non-human animal he sees in his everyday life. For lack of a better word you could say he is a “sucker” for puppies and kitties despite his “tough” or “scary” appearance.
While attending high school at Northridge High in Layton Utah Alex began to learn and become aware in depth all the many kinds of animal cruelty in the factory farm industry and shortly after chose a vegan lifestyle. Unfortunately it wasn’t until he was out of high school that he finally met and became good friends with a large group of people with the same feelings as he had. So he spent the first years being vegan on his own without any of the knowledge of what he could eat other than mostly vegetables and fruits. He has never looked back since.
Alex considers all of his friends as family and enjoys spending as much of his time as possible with them doing activities like skateboarding, biking, eating good food, or going to movies. Also he is very into tattoos and appreciates and enjoys many other kinds of art. And he would like to give thanks from the bottom of his heart to all friends and fellow animal rights activists for all the support he and BJ have received during these last few weeks.
In late 2007 Alex began his career as a professional body piercer at Loyalty Tattoos in Clearfield Utah under master piercer David Scott. He really enjoys his career and doesn’t see himself ever going into any other industry. He is also very grateful for the friendships he gained in the almost two years he has been at Loyalty and would like to thank everybody there for everything they have done for him. He honestly couldn’t ask for a better group of friends and influences to surround himself by in his life.
Alex also encourages everybody to support all other people who are in his and BJ’s situation. Alex is so touched by all the support from the animal rights community and because of the support he has been able to stay strong through everything and all other political prisoners need your support too!
